The third is a sharp increase in prices. According to statistics from the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Association, the price of aluminum has risen sharply since this year. The average spot price from January to September is 18,491 yuan/ton, an increase of 32.5% year-on-year. The spot price on September 13 was 23,410 yuan/ton, a record high in the past 15 years.

Fourth, the decline in imports of bauxite and alumina has narrowed, while exports of aluminum have increased. According to data from the General Administration of Customs, from January to September, bauxite and alumina (physical volume) imported 81.532 million tons and 2.694 million tons, down 7.2% and 9.4% year-on-year. 1.5%; imports of aluminum scrap and scrap were 636,000 tons, a year-on-year increase of 0.6%; imports of unwrought aluminum were 1.917 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 12.9%. From January to September, the export of aluminum products was 3.943 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 16.1%.
